Daniel Straus, who was recently removed from a scheduled Bellator featherweight title fight with Pat Curran due to a broken hand, has been arrested on four traffic and drug charges in Florida.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed with the Broward Sheriff’s Public Information Office that Straus was charged with driving on a suspended license, possessions of cannabis over 20 grams, possession of MDMA/ecstasy and use of drug paraphernalia.

Straus is currently being held in the North Broward Bureau detention facility, with bond set at $2,200.

Losing a title shot and winding up in jail? Not really the best of weeks for the 28-year-old Straus. Best of luck getting all this figured out, sir.
