Herschel Walker is 51 years old, but if you have seen him workout or in person, you wouldn’t believe it.

Walker, a former NFL standout and Heisman Trophy winner while at the University of Georgia, took up MMA a handful of years ago. He is also an ex-Olympian and considered one of the greatest athletes ever.

After a pair of victories, Walker has remained on the sidelines over the last two years. He was signed to a Strikeforce deal, and defeated both Greg Nagy and Scott Carson.

Now, with Strikeforce having folded and been consolidated by the UFC, Walker is hoping to get the chance to step inside the Octagon.

“I would love to do it again,” said Walker, on The Lavar Arrington Show with Chad Dukes. “Because I’m a little bit older and I have a business going, I would like to do one more fight and then, I think, it’s time for me step aside and give it to the young people. But I would love to do one more fight.”

So far, UFC president Dana White has remained stead-fast in his stance of not using Walker. However, if the right opportunity came to pass, he could be included, as you might remember White giving James Toney a fight a few years back.
