The Ultimate Fighter isn’t leaving FOX Sports anytime soon. However, the exact network it airs on remains a mystery.

UFC president Dana White announced that UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be one of the coaches on the 18th season of the show later this year, adding in that both 135-pound male and female fighters will be cast.

While Rousey will compete against either Miesha Tate or Cat Zingano, where the season airs has yet to be decided.

FOX is launching FOX Sports 1 in August, with the network taking all of the sporting action from FX – where TUF currently airs. The program has already moved from Friday nights to Tuesdays, which appears to be a better fit.

“That’s all still a work in progress,” said White over the weekend. “I won’t be the one to make that decision.”

FOX Sports 1 will be televising several live UFC cards throughout the remainder of 2013 and into 2014, but TUF could stay on FX if executives deem it entertainment.

While a move off FX to FS1 wouldn’t necessarily be a horrible thing, it could cause confusion and maybe some lost viewers, as people just don’t seem to like change.
