To say UFC president Dana White was unhappy with the Swedish MMA Federation this past week would be an understatement.

The SMMAF pulled Alexander Gustafsson from a planned main event, forcing UFC officials to pair Ilir Latifi with Gegard Mousasi in the main event Saturday night from Stockholm.

White, during the post-fight show on FUEL TV, made sure to let his feelings be known.

“The commission did a horrible job with this fight,” White said, during the post-fight show on FUEL TV. “I don’t want to smash the commission, but they’re very inexperienced. This isn’t Las Vegas or New Jersey or California where lots of fights happen.”

This was the second appearance in Sweden in the past few years, and White added that “They did a great job the first time we came here.” He said that “hopefully, they’ll get back on the wagon.”

Other UFC officials have stated plans to return in the next 12-to-18 months, but that could change after what happened over the past week.
