Roy Nelson is the definition of an entertainer.

From his pot belly to his over-grown beard and mullet, “Big Country” likes to fight and likes to have fun.

For Nelson, those two things just go hand-in-hand, and he hopes they result in a win this Saturday night against Cheick Kongo at UFC 159.

“Everybody just loves the home run. I think the only time I’ve ever seen an Armbar get the oohs and yays is when Stefan Struve got stuffed every time he went for it with Mark Hunt,” said Nelson, during a recent interview with UFC.com. “At the end of the day I just want the W. If I can knock the guy out, that’s cool; if I can submit the guy, that’s cool too. But maybe I just want all knockouts and to have the record for that, the most (UFC) knockouts for heavyweights.”

He added that, “everybody knows that whoever I fight, it’s gonna be a fight. With Mark Hunt, you’re hoping and praying that he lands a shot. With me, you know it’s gonna be a fun fight. You’re gonna be entertained from start to finish.”

The 36-year-old former winner of The Ultimate Fighter is 18-7 in his career with 16 wins by finish. He is on a two-fight win streak, and is 3-1 in his last four.

If you had the choice, would you rather see Hunt and his troops earn a title shot, or Nelson and his country-folk-ways?
