Pat Healy choked Jim Miller out Saturday night at UFC 159, and believes he deserves a shot at a Top-5 UFC lightweight.

Healy earned the submission win over Miller for his first UFC victory. Seven years ago he lost inside the Octagon and has worked his way back.

“I feel so good,” Healy said. “You can’t break me down out there. I know I look a little beat up and my eye is swollen, but I feel incredible.”

Healy was given the status of No. 1 contender last year, but never received a title shot. Gilbert Melendez suffered a shoulder injury, cancelling two planned bouts.

Now, in the UFC, “Bam Bam” feels he is deserving of a Top-5 lightweight, as he called for that after his win.

“Jim was ranked No. 5 in the world coming into this fight, so I’d love to fight four, three, two or one.”

Healy has already been called out by Jamie Varner. UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson is scheduled to meet the winner of Gray Maynard-TJ Grant.
