Thales Leites appears to have worked himself back into the Octagon.

Now, according to a report by GloboTV, Leites has signed back with the promotion and will likely make his debut in Brazil. The UFC is headed to the country in August and September.

Leites (20-4) has gone 6-1 since being released by the UFC in 2009. That includes four submission victories.

The Brazilian earned himself a title shot against Anderson Silva, but was defeated via decision in ’09. He was also defeated by Alessio Sakara later that year, prompting his release.
