UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano were expected to square off as coaches on The Ultimate Fighter and for the belt later in the year.

However, Zingano was forced to pull out of both after suffering a knee injury. In her place steps Miesha Tate, and the two previous “enemies” are bonding together over the new contender.

On Twitter recently, Zingano asked Rousey to “hit (Tate) in that nose for me will ya? :)” Rousey, who has had issues with Tate in the past, responded, “don’t worry I’ll handle her and we’ll have the title fight you deserve, heal up:)”

Zingano defeated Tate to earn both the TUF coaching spot and championship match. She, like Rousey, is unbeaten in her MMA career.

Along with Cat Zingano talking about Tate, Mauricio Zingano, her husband, chimed in with “its a big target.” Rousey added “lol! Yeah it is.”

Rousey previously submitted Tate for the Strikeforce title last year.
