UFC officials have confirmed plans to bring the promotion back to Indianapolis, with a key welterweight battle set to headline.

Carlos Condit, a former interim UFC champion, will look to gain a measure of revenge on Martin Kampmann when the two collide in the main event of UFC on FS1: Condit vs. Kampmann 2 from Bankers Life Fieldhouse on August 28.

The event will be the second on FOX Sports 1 in the month, as the UFC is also set for August 17 for the official debut of the all-sports network.

Back in 2009, Kampmann scored a split decision victory over Condit.

“Two of the top-ranked welterweights in the division will collide when former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit meets Martin Kampmann in Indianapolis,” UFC President Dana White said. “Both of these guys love finishing fights, so this is gonna be a war!”

Other bouts include Donald Cerrone-Rafael dos Anjos and Sara McMann-Sarah Kaufman.

Tickets go on sale June 14 at 10 a.m. ET and are priced between $40-200. All Ticketmaster locations will have tickets, along with the arenas official site.

UFC Fight Club members will be able to purchase them two days earlier, while a special internet pre-sale is set for June 13 for those who subscribe to the UFC newsletter.
