UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will be heading to Toronto for a third title defense later this year.

UFC officials confirmed that Jones will defend his belt against Alexander Gustafsson on September 21 in Canada at UFC 165.

Jones (18-1) told his Twitter followers earlier this week to be on the lookout for a fight announcement soon, and he wasn’t wrong. “Bones” has previously bested both Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort in Toronto.

Gustafsson (15-1) has won six straight, including a recent victory over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. His lone career loss came to Phil Davis.
