After a stint at heavyweight, former UFC fighter Anthony Johnson is returning to 205 pounds.

Johnson will face Mike Kyle at the fifth World Series of Fighting show on September 14 from Atlantic City.

“Rumble” moved up to heavyweight earlier this year and scored a decision victory over former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski. Overall, he has won five straight since a submission loss to Vitor Belfort at UFC 142.

Kyle is a veteran of Strikeforce and holds a record of 20-9-1. he knocked out Travis Wiuff this past May after a loss to Gegard Mousasi.

All the other confirmed fights will take place at the fourth WSOF show in August. They include Tyrone Spong-Angel DeAnda, Marlon Moraes-Brandon Hempleman, Ray Sefo-Dave Huckaba, Tyson Griffin-Gesias Cavalcante, Nick Newell-Keon Caldwell and Jorge Santiago-Gerald Harris.

Of note, Sefo is the president of the WSOF, while Newell is an unbeaten fighter who is missing the lower part of his left arm.
