Flyweight contenders Joseph Benavidez and Jussier Formiga are likely headed to September’s UFC on FS1 3 card in Brazil.

According to a report filed by Globo, the two would meet September 4 from a location yet to be determined in the South American country.

Benavidez (18-3) has won his last two since a close split decision loss to Demetrious Johnson in the finals of the UFC flyweight championship tournament. He recently finished Darren Uyenoyama.

Formiga (15-2) has split his two UFC bouts, defeating Chris Cariaso and falling to John Dodson, the most recent No. 1 contender to Johnson.
