The upcoming season of “TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia” will reportedly feature competitors from both the middleweight and welterweight divisions, and not just the latter as originally thought. The program, which will be coached by Canada’s Patrick Cote and Australia’s Kyle Noke, is expected to debut in early 2014.

Cote relayed that middleweight fighters will be included in the season to Sportsnet’s “UFC Central” program.

Tryouts for the show will take place this September in Toronto and Sydney, and the program will be broadcast on Sportsnet 360 and TVA Sports in Canada, and FX  in Australia.

Although the show’s original announcement didn’t confirm whether Cote will fight Noke when the show is over, Cote has gone on record since, relaying he believes the two will face off.

Noke (20-6-1) is coming off a first round, stoppage win over Charlie Brenneman last September, while Cote (19-8) battled his way to a tightly contested, unanimous decision win over Bobby Voelker in March.

Previous international versions of TUF have also featured teams from the U.S. and the United Kingdom competing against each other, and more recently, “TUF Smashes” saw Team U.K. take on Team Australia.
