UFC heavyweight Dave Herman has been cleared to return to the Octagon this weekend following his special drug test in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Herman will face Gabriel Gonzaga Saturday night at UFC 162 on the FX prelims.
Following a second failed drug test for marijuana last year, Herman (21-5) was forced to undergo treatment and take a 10-panel drug test to receive his fight license.
News of his test passing was announced late Tuesday evening, making the bout with Gonzaga (14-7) official.
Herman last fought in October, falling to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. He proceeded to fail the post-fight drug test.
