Dan Henderson stopped taking any testosterone prior to his UFC 161 fight with Rashad Evans.

The Manitoba Combative Sports Commission revealed recently that no exemptions were issued. Henderson has previously used TRT, causing some confusion as to what happened.

Henderson, who lost to Rashad Evans via decision, cleared up the issue.

“It didn’t look like they would approve it, so I just quit taking the testosterone,” said Henderson, in an interview with MMAjunkie.com. “I stopped about six-to-eight weeks out. I wasn’t using that much, anyway.”

Henderson (29-9) has won six of his nine UFC bouts. He is a former Strikeforce and PRIDE champion, but has yet to taste UFC gold.
