Brian Stann has landed another new gig.
Stann, a former military veteran, announced his retirement from active competition recently. Along with agreeing to commentate college football games for FOX Sports this coming fall, he has landed a spot on the upcoming UFC 163 broadcast.
Stann will replace Joe Rogan as color commentator alongside Mike Goldberg for the card in Brazil. It features UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo facing Chan Sung Jung in the main event.
The 32-year-old went 12-6 in his MMA career, including recent losses to Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping. Stann was awarded the Silver Star for his military efforts, and is a one-time WEC light heavyweight champion.
