Vitor Belfort wants another shot at claiming the UFC middleweight title.

To get there, he will have to take out Tim Kennedy – at least according to the former Strikeforce No. 1 contender.

Kennedy posted on Twitter Friday that he is facing Belfort in Brazil. He claimed to be bringing with him his “ranger panties, Greg Jackson and Ranger Up.”

The former military man laughed at the notion of being a “gatekeeper” earlier this week on the social medial site, proclaiming that people would not feel that way once they heard his next opponent.

Belfort, a former contender to the UFC middleweight and light heavyweight championship, has been pushing for a title-bout. However, the belt is currently locked up through December when champ Chris Weidman defends against Anderson Silva.

The next two planned UFC cards in Brazil appear set, but a third is likely for October. That could be the date for Belfort-Kennedy.
