UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo doesn’t venture far from straight-forward answers during most press conferences.

Earlier this week, at the pre-fight event for UFC 163, “Scarface” showed his lighter side when asked about being the UFC champion and the weight it carries with it.

“Yes, I feel the burden of the belt,” Aldo said. “It weighs nine kilos; it’s great.”

Aldo, who will face Chan Sung Jung in the main event from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this evening, doesn’t seem content to just rely on being the featherweight champion of the world.

“I have no problem carrying the weight of the title,” he said. “I hope to get another and carry two.”

Aldo’s future remains unclear, as he has spoken out in the past about moving up to lightweight and fighting for the title there. He has documented his struggled with cutting to 145 pounds previously, but appeared in phenomenal shape prior to Friday’s weigh-ins.
