Amanda Nunes excited the Brazilian crowd Saturday night at UFC 163, becoming the first Brazilian female fighter to earn a win inside the Octagon by finishing Sheila Gaff.

Nunes stormed after Gaff, taking her down and securing the win via TKO after several elbows connected to the face of the German.

“I’m fighting here in my hometown….who does she think she is (coming here and thinking she) can beat me in my hometown.”

The 25-year-old is 2-2 in her last four, including a loss in Strikeforce to Alexis Davis. She executed precise ground-and-pound, sending Gaff (10-6-1) to her second straight UFC loss.
