Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit is one of the toughest fighters in the world to finish.

In 35 pro bouts, he has been stopped just three times – all of which were submission defeats and not knockout finishes.

Martin Kampmann, though, believes he has the skills to become the first fighter to render Condit unconscious. The two meet for a second time later this month at UFC Fight Night 27.

I’m going to walk away with the finish. I’m going to walk away as the winner,” Kampmann said, in an interview with Late Night Cage Side Radio recently. “I see me getting the finish and getting the win. That’s what I see and it’s going to be a hell of a fight.”

In 2009, Kampmann scored a split decision victory over Condit, who has dropped two straight fights. “The Hitman” is 3-1 in his last four, with a recent loss to Johny Hendricks – who also defeated “The Natural Born Killer” in his most recent war.
