It didn’t take long for John Lineker to find out when and who he’ll be fighting next, as the UFC 163 winner will take on Phil Harris, October 26th at UFC Fight Night 30.

The upcoming event will take place in Manchester, England, at the Phones 4U Arena. The UFC’s British Twitter feed announced the fight.

Harris and Lineker were scheduled to fight at the August 3rd, UFC 163 in Rio de Janeiro, however, a broken orbital bone forced Harris to pull out. Lineker (22-6) went on to score a second round, stoppage win over Jose Maria Tome, which was the Brazilian fighter’s third straight win. The only man to defeat Lineker in four UFC bouts is Louis Gaudinot.

Harris (22-10) is also coming off a win, as the British fighter scored a unanimous decision win over Ulysses Gomez at UFC on FUEL TV 7 in February. In his Octagon debut at UFC on FX 5, however, Harris was tapped out by Darren Uyenoyama.

So, with this compelling flyweight bout, the UFC Fight Night 30 card has four fights booked. In the headliner, Michael Bisping will take on fellow top ten middleweight Mark Munoz, and in the co-main event, Bisping’s countrymen Ross Pearson will battle lightweight vet Melvin Guillard.
