Dan Henderson and Vitor Belfort will meet for a second time at light heavyweight, according to Henderson.
The former PRIDE champion bested Belfort back in 2006 in the promotion. They are set to collide for the first time since at UFC Fight Night 32 in Brazil on November 9.
Henderson confirmed the weight division for the bout with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani on Wednesday.
Belfort is viewed as the next contender by many at middleweight, and stated several times he would not fight at 185 pounds unless it was for the title. He did express interest in competing again, though, including vs. Chael Sonnen.
Henderson has dropped his last two via split decision to Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida.
