UFC president Dana White announced earlier this week that moving forward, prelims for UFC Fight Night cards will air on FOX Sports 1 – the same network as the main card.

Wednesday night, prelims began on FOX Sports 2. However, an hour into the two-hour planned broadcast, Jon Anik announced they were on FOX Sports 1 now. The fights aired on both networks until the main card started.

White stated they would have “five hours of live fights” with each Fight Night card from now on airing on just one channel.

FOX Sports 1 launched earlier in August with Chael Sonnen and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua competing in the main event. The prelims and main card all aired on one channel that night.

While also making that announcement, White confirmed the Vitor Belfort-Dan Henderson bout for UFC Fight Night 32 in November. It will also air on FOX Sports 1.
