The UFC’s year-end card, UFC 168, has added a heavyweight war between Josh Barnett and Travis Browne.

Officials confirmed the contest for December 28 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Barnett (33-6) made his long-awaited return to the Octagon last month, finishing fellow former champion Frank Mir in the first round. He is 10-1 in his last 11 overall, with the lone loss coming to Daniel Cormier.

Browne (15-1-1) earned the biggest win of his career when he survived a brutal assault from Alistair Overeem and finished the former Strikeforce champion.

Along with Barnett-Browne, the card boasts rematches between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title, and Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate for the female belt.
