Scott Jorgensen will give flyweight a try, as the former WEC contender moves down and faces Ian McCall at UFC on FOX 9 this December.

Officials announced the bout recently, which takes place December 14 from Sacramento.

Currently, the card boasts fights between UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and Josh Thomson, Urijah Faber and Michael McDonald, and Chad Mendes and Nik Lentz.

Jorgensen (14-7) has won just once in his last four, but the three losses are to the likes of Faber, interim UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao, and Barao’s current opponent, Eddie Wineland.

McCall (12-4-1) finally netted his first Octagon victory in his fourth attempt, defeating Iliarde Santos.

The fighter with the nickname “Uncle Creepy,” sent out a message to Jorgensen on Twitter that read, “well this should be fun … Welcome to flyweight my friend. Now punch me in the face.”
