Khabib Nurmagomedov earned his 21st straight victory, the last five of which have come in the UFC, and made a demand by his promotion.

Fresh off a decision victory over Pat Healy at UFC 165 Saturday night, “The Eagle” stated his case for a title fight.

“UFC, Canada, there is a gentleman who is 21-0 and 5-0 in the UFC,” the fighter said, speaking of himself. “UFC, give me a title shot. I am ready.”

Nurmagomedov (21-0) has topped Healy, Abel Trujillo, Thiago Tavares, Gleison Tibau and Kamal Shalorus since debuting with the UFC in 2012. Against “Bam Bam,” he imposed his will, effectively striking and taking down the veteran.

As a former M-1 Selection Champion and a Combat Sambo Russian national champion, Nurmagomedov has proven his credentials are no fluke since entering the UFC.
