Renan Barao broke out something new Saturday night at UFC 165.

Just seconds into the second round, the interim UFC bantamweight champion connected with a spinning back kick that floored Eddie Wineland.

A few shots later, and Barao was dancing inside the Octagon in celebration.

The Brazilian made it known he wants a unification bout with Dominick Cruz next. Cruz, the UFC bantamweight champion since the division was created, has been sidelined with two knee surgeries.

“I’m just waiting for Dominick Cruz now,” Barao stated.

Barao controlled much of the first round, keeping Wineland from landing anything of significance in the first round. He wasted no time finishing things in the second, setting off a celebration with his teammates.
