Former UFC lightweight No. 1 contender Nate Diaz has other plans for November 30 – and they don’t include facing Gray Maynard inside the Octagon.

The two have been set for a bout at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, but Diaz appears to be set on attending another event that night.

After reports of Diaz-Maynard first surfaced, the fighter posted on Twitter that he was fighting new UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and not Maynard.

So far, we have yet to hear anything concrete concerning the matter from either Diaz, his camp or the UFC.
