Ryan Couture, the son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, has been released from the promotion.
Couture went 0-2, falling to Ross Pearson and Al Iaquinta. He is 6-3 in his MMA career overall.
Following a run in Strikeforce, Couture was brought into the UFC despite issues between UFC president Dana White and the elder Couture.
However, the 31-year-old was unable to gain a win, resulting in his release. Couture’s manager, Sam Spira, confirmed the release with MMAjunkie.com.
