“The Korean Zombie,” also known as Chan Sung Jung, continues to rehab from a series of injuries suffered in a loss to UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo earlier this year.

Jung had his three-fight win streak snapped, and also suffered a fractured orbital bone and injured his shoulder during the war. The shoulder injury was noticeable, as his right arm dropped right before Aldo finished him.

“I swung and the shoulder came out,” said Jung, during an interview with Bloody Elbow recently. “It was the first time I’ve ever dislocated my shoulder, but I knew what happened. I tried to push the shoulder up, but I should have been trying to push it backwards.”

Jung confirmed that he has since undergone surgery on his shoulder, adding, “otherwise it would have been recurring. Also, I had surgery for a fractured orbital bone.

“I’ll probably be back in the gym in 10 months,” he said. “With the surgery and the rehab, it shouldn’t be a problem.”
