A new opponent has been found for Ed Herman, as Thales Leites will step in to meet him at UFC 167 in November.

The bout was announced on “UFC Tonight” recently for the November 16 card. Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks for the UFC welterweight title is set for the main event.

Leites (21-4) earned a win over Tom Watson this past August in his return to the UFC. He is a former top contender, but was released following a second straight loss in 2009.

Since that time, Leites has went 7-1, including four submission wins.

Herman (21-9) was scheduled to face Rafael Natal, but Natal opted to meet Tim Kennedy instead in November. He is 4-1 in his last five, including one no-contest.
