Cat Zingano is still viewed as the top contender to Ronda Rousey’s reign atop the UFC female bantamweight division.

Knee issues, though, have kept Zingano from cashing in on that opportunity and facing Rousey. They also kept her from appearing on The Ultimate Fighter as a coach.

So, how does Zingano feel about seeing Miesha Tate – the person she defeated – on the reality series?

“It’s tough,” said Zingano, during an interview on UFC Tonight. “I realize I earned that spot. I beat Miesha for it. It’s a little hard to watch.”

Zingano was asked her thoughts on the upcoming Rousey-Tate title match, to which she replied, “I’m not chasing Miesha because I’ve already beat her. I’m going after Ronda and starting back where I left off.”
