Alan Patrick broke down inside the Octagon Wednesday night at UFC Fight Night 29, but not before breaking Garett Whiteley.

Patrick earned a TKO victory in his UFC debut, finishing Whiteley in the opening round of action.

After answering the first question by Jon Anik, the Brazilian was taken over by his emotions, crying on his way out of the cage.

He did say that here are “no words to describe (the win). I grew up on the streets; I’ve lived on the streets.”

Patrick improved to 11-0 with the win. He showed excellent wrestling early on, taking Whiteley (8-1) down. After catching him, he pounced, finishing him off quickly.
