Count UFC president Dana White among those interested in seeing Nick Diaz return to the UFC as a middleweight.

In fact, White feels Michael Bisping would make for a great opponent for the former contender.

Bisping recently stated his desire to welcome Diaz to 185, posting on Twitter “if Diaz wants a fight at 185 I would happily welcome him to the division.”

White was asked about the possible fight on his own page, to which he remarked “I love that fight.”

Diaz has been relatively quiet since losing to UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and announcing his retirement again. However, reports have surfaced that he is planning a return to action.

Bisping is recovering from surgery for a detached retina that forced him out of a planned meeting with Mark Munoz. He is expected to make a full-recovery and fight again.
