UFC president Dana White got a little testy recently when asked about the pairing of Jimi Manuwa with Alexander Gustafsson for UFC Fight Night in March.

Manuwa replaces Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, who bowed out of the fight with lingering back issues.

“The fight is going to be over in London and Manuwa is undefeated. He’s undefeated and he’s a big, nasty striker and he’s a light heavyweight,” said White, during a recent post-fight press conference.

Many felt a better bout would be Daniel Cormier, who is making the move down from heavyweight to 205 pounds.

“Cormier has never made it to 205 pounds before,” White said. The former Olympian has stated his desire to make his light heavyweight debut in the U.S. due to issues in cutting weight.

Manuwa is a perfect 3-0 since joining the UFC and 12-0 in his MMA career. He is a former UCMMA champion.
