Will Campuzano has been given a second chance in the UFC, agreeing to face Sergio Pettis at UFC 167 next Saturday.
Campuzano stated he will replace Vaughan Lee, who pulled out of the fight recently with an injury.
The card is set for November 16 from Las Vegas, with UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre facing Johny Hendricks in the main event.
“Quick update guys,” Campuzano posted on Twitter. “I’ll be fighting Sergio Pettis next week in Las Vegas on the GSP vs. Hendricks under card. Thanks for the support.”
Campuzano (13-4) competed inside the Octagon last in 2011, falling to Chris Cariaso. He has won five straight since that loss.
