Bantamweights Eddie Wineland and Johnny Eduardo are set to meet later this year at UFC Fight Night 40.
The bout was first reported by MMAFighting.com for the May 10 event from Cincinnati’s U.S. Bank Arena. So far, no main event has been announced.
Wineland (21-9-1) rebounded from a 2013 loss to current UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao by finishing Yves Jabouin in January. Since coming over from the WEC, Wineland has posted a 3-3 mark.
Eduardo (26-9) earned his first Octagon win in 2012, topping Jeff Curran. He has not fought since, as injuries have kept him on the sidelines.
