Kurt Holobaugh appeared well on his way to a ninth stoppage victory Friday night vs. Eric Marriott at Titan FC 27.
However, the one-time UFC fighter, found out why Marriott has yet to be finished in his career. Holobaugh still pulled out the decision victory, improving to 10-2.
“It was a three-round war,” said Holobaugh, during a post-fight interview with Titan FC. “It was a good fight. It could have been better, I could have gotten the finish.
“Eric is a tough guy. We got in there and went to war.”
Holobaugh also stated that he may have suffered a left hand injury in the opening round of action, but added “I don’t know how big of effect that had.”
After a decision loss to Pat Healy last year in Strikeforce, Holobaugh suffered another decision defeat at the hands of Steven Siler inside the Octagon.
