This Saturday, Conor McGregor returns from a layoff to face Diego Brandao in front of his home Irish fans at UFC Fight Night 46.

In the video below, see McGregor’s Octagon debut against Marcus Brimage from last year. The McGregor-Brandao bout serves as the main event, with the entire card airing on UFC Fight Pass. You can also read the play-by-play from the McGregor-Brimage fight below:

Marcus Brimage vs. Conor McGregor

A very interesting featherweight contest next, as Marcus Brimage (6-1) welcomes Irish prospect Conor McGregor (12-2) to the UFC. These two had an intense staredown after weigh-ins on Friday and should bring that to the Octagon next. The referee will be Robert Sundel.

Round 1: Brimage comes right after McGregor, who is throwing some sweet spinning kicks. Brimage lands, but McGregor connects and stuns him, and again. McGregor appears to be looking to counter, allowing him to come in. Pair of nasty uppercuts, and another and McGregor pounces, finishing this one quickly. No nerves whatsoever by McGregor, who impressed me greatly with this finish, as Brimage is one tough fighter.
