The UFC announced Wednesday that Bryan Caraway (19-6) vs. Raphael Assuncao (22-4) has been added to UFC Fight Night 54.

Bryan Caraway (18-6) He has one knockout, sixteen submission and one decision victories in his MMA career, while he has been knocked out once, lost by submission twice and three times by decision. Prior to joining the UFC, he was 2-2 in his last four fights. He made his UFC debut against Dustin Neace, which he won.

He went on a 2-1 run in his next three fights.

He beat Mitch Gagnon via submission at UFC 149 – Faber vs. Barao on Jul / 21 / 2012, but lost to Takeya Mizugaki via split decision at UFC on Fuel TV 8 – Silva vs. Stann on Mar / 03 / 2013. In next last fight he beat Johnny Bedford via submission at UFC 159 – Jones vs. Sonnen on Apr / 27 / 2013. He is coming off a win over Erik Perez At UFC Fight Night 42.

The featured fight of this event will be Rory MacDonald – Tarec Saffiedine.

Kailin Curran (3-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Paige VanZant (3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) are also been added.

UFC Fight Night 54 goes down Oct. 4 at Halifax Metro Centre. While there are no broadcasting plans that have been announced at this time, a combination of FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass is expected.
