Bantamweights Thomas Almeida and Tim Gorman will square off this November at UFC Fight Night 56, officials announced recently.

Set for November 8 from Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the card is expected to air on both FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Jimi Manuwa is the planned main event.

Almeida (17-0) will be making his Octagon debut after scoring 13 knockout and four more submission wins – 15 of those combined finishes coming in the first round. The 23-year-old most recently fought for Legacy FC.

Gorman (8-3) was a competitor on The Ultimate Fighter, but was forced out of the tournament due to an injury. He lost his UFC debut to Mitch Gagnon, but is still 6-2 in his last eight overall.
