Tony Ferguson is turning into a finishing machine, as he scored his fourth straight victory Saturday night at UFC 181. Of those four, three have been finishes, including a choke vs. Abel Trujillo.

Ferguson, a former Ultimate Fighter winner, knew he would have to survive the early onslaught by Trujillo. Once the second round started, it was all “El Cucuy.”

“I just had to weather the storm,” he said. “I saw everything he had. It was crazy, but it was a fun fight. I’m happy with my performance.”

Since a loss via decision to Michael Johnson, Ferguson (17-3) has won four straight over Trujillo, Danny Castillo, Katsunori Kikuno and Mike Rio. Overall, he’s now 7-1 inside the Octagon and 10-1 in his last 11 overall.

For Trujillo, the loss dropped him to 12-6 and snapped his three-fight unbeaten streak.
