UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has heard all the talk for years now.

After some interesting posts on social media, a run-in with the law after a driving under the influence charge and his “brawl” involving Daniel Cormier, Jones says he has come to a conclusion regarding his public image.

“I’m not here to win you over with my personality,” he said earlier this week during a conference call. “I’m here to fight. That’s my job.

“I’ve learned to laugh at (all the hate). What are we in high school? I’m a grown man and you’re calling me fake? I just find it funny. I’ve learned to laugh at it and go with it.”

Jones will defend his title this Saturday night at UFC 182 against Cormier. All of the “haters” have yet to really hit home with “Bones.”

“I’m just waiting for the person who really hates me that gives me a legit answer or reason (for hating me),” he said. “No one has given me anything solid.”
