According to a report by MMAjunkie.com, former Strikeforce welterweight champion Tarec Saffiedine has again been struck by the injury bug.
Saffiedine was scheduled to meet Matt Brown at UFC Fight Night 60 on February 14. However, the report states he suffered a groin injury that will keep him off the event and out of the fight.
The UFC has yet to make a formal announcement regarding the change for the Broomfield, Colorado card.
Saffiedine (15-4) has gone 1-1 in two UFC fights since coming over with the Strikeforce purchase. He lost to Rory MacDonald earlier this year. Brown (19-12) had his lengthy win streak snapped by Robbie Lawler and is now 12-6 with the promotion.
