Anthony Pettis will return to action this March, defending his lightweight title against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 185.

The main event was confirmed during UFC 182 and will see the promotion return to Dallas. It is scheduled for March 14.

Pettis (18-2) got back inside the Octagon for the first time in over a year this past November, scoring a second round submission victory over Gilbert Melendez. It was his first fight since winning the title from Benson Henderson in 2013 – which was also via submission.

Dos Anjos (23-7) is taking a three-fight win streak into action, and hopes to follow the same path of current bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw. Dos Anjos is getting the title shot over Khabib Nurmagomedov, even though Nurmagomedov defeated him last year, because of an injury.
