Chris Weidman jumped past Demetrious Johnson for second place on the UFC’s Pound-For Pound charts in the latest set of rankings.
Also, both Anthony Pettis (10th) and Renan Barao (11th) moved ahead of Anderson Silva on the list.
In the heavyweight division, Ben Rothwell and Frank Mir flipped spots for ninth, while Antonio Silva and Matt Mitrione did the same for 12th. Rothwell and Mitrione meet this weekend inside the Octagon.
Rashad Evans is now tied with Ryan Bader for third at light heavyweight, while Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is ninth and Fabio Maldonado is 13th.
Vitor Belfort (third), Gegard Mousasi (tied for sixth) and Thales Leites (ninth) each climbed at middleweight, while Lyoto Machida (fourth) and Michael Bisping (10th) fell. Leites and Bisping meet later this year.
The welterweight rankings saw Rick Story climb to tied for 10th with Kelvin Gastelum, while Neil Magny is 12th and Thiago Alves 13th. Donald Cerrone fell to third at lightweight and Charles Oliveira moved to seventh at featherweight head of Dennis Bermudez.
Johnny Eduardo and Aljamain Sterling moved to seventh and eighth at bantamweight ahead of Takeya Mizugaki, while Jussier Formiga is third at flyweight and Kyoji Horiguchi is seventh. Those two passed Ian McCall and Henry Cejudo.
Also, Tatsuya Kawajiri debuted at No. 15 in the featherweight rankings and Ray Borg did the same at flyweight.
Paige VanZant (seventh) and Juliana Lima (11th) moved up in strawweight, as Lima passed Aisling Daly and Heather Clark. VanZant moved ahead of Maryna Moroz.
